Cheonan City FC

천안 시티 FC(Cheonan City Football Club)는 2008년 1월 9일에 창단한 K리그2 소속 축구단이다.
연고지는 충청남도 천안시이며, 구단주는 박상돈 천안시장, 단장은 안병모 전 부산 아이파크 단장
이며, 감독은 박남열이다.2008년 1월 9일 '천안시 축구단'이라는 명칭으로 창단하였다.
그 후, 2023 시즌을 앞두고 천안 시티 FC라는 명칭으로 바뀌면서 K리그2에 참가하게 되었다.
2008년 1월 6일, 천안시 축구단이란 명칭으로 창단하였으나 2008년부터 2019년까지는 내셔널
리그에서는 천안시청 축구단이란 명칭을 사용했다. K3리그 참여를 계기로 다시 원래 사용하던
명칭인 천안시 축구단이란 명칭으로 복원하였다. 영문 명칭은 Cheonan City Football Club으로
줄여서 CCFC라고 사용하고 있다. 2022년 12월 20일에 천안시 축구단에서 천안 시티 FC로
구단명칭을 변경했다.
